Hellooo, anyone here?
Hi, all. I'm back. And the first thing that happens to me? Nimda. I was completely unprotected. This is the first time in 5 years of surfing I've caught a bug. Eeeewwww I feel so dirty.

I have McAfee now and a fresh install of XP. (Is the fresh install paranoid?) Any other experiences with Nimda?

The baby's doing great and I got promoted to Superintendent

No. Paranoid is when you suspect that all the anti-virus software mfrs. are actively sending out viruses so you have to buy their stuff!

I thought McAfee wasn't as good with XP as NAV but I may be wrong. Knothead's the technical guy.

Knot- Guess I'm paranoid then!

(But not according to that personality test... hmmm... may have to re-take that one!)

But is it considered paranoia when they're really after you?!?!?

Shah - i prefer NAV, myself - but then i don't have XP, so dunno about any probs with it...

An interesting sidebar - and I'm sure I'm not the first to have noticed it - especially considering how long it's been around, but Nimda is Admin spelled backwards...

I keep hearing bad things about NAV. As a matter of fact, I already have NAV, but bought McAfee for just this reason. I got my computer checked out over at PCPitstop, that's where I found the nasty little weasel. They suggested McAfee. Well, I'll see. I was just in a hurry to get something in place
