Solid Snake is on a distinguished road

I moved into my dorm a few weeks ago, using the computer several hours per day, no keyboard drawer and the setup here is killing me. My wrists are making me cry. They hurt when I type and at night they get more sleep than I do. I can't lose usage of my hands! I'm a hobbyist programmer looking to turn pro after college. I want to drive a manual car! This can't be happening!!! I'M EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD!!! Somebody please help! ;(

Get a laptop?

Does your current setup HAVE to be like that? If so...well...change it

Even if I stop using the comp, the pain doesn't go away. I started typing on my lap, not much of an improvement. I went home for a whole 4 day weekend and the pain was there the whole time, it didn't even get slightly better.

First off, see a doc. Next, you may want to try one of those gel wrist supports. Now, as a suggestion only, Ibuprofen does help keep the inflamation down, which would help relieve some of the pain you are experencing.

Well see, that's the funny thing. No one can answer that until someone (a doctor, most likely) determines the cause of the pain. You cannot know the means to cure the pain until you know what's causing it now, can you?

Go see a doctor.

Yes, you need to see someone about that. There are several conditions that can arise from excessive/improper use of a keyboard. You need to see a doctor... and limit your typing time in the meanwhile.
