Today the Breeder's Cup ran at Arlington, IL. This horse race is like the superbowl as a final event of the year. It includes many horses that will be retired and many young horses that will be next year's contenders.
I did restrain myself about posting earlier stuff about my war chest of info because of the many folks here that cannot yet indulge in this behavior.
I don't see how it could hurt anyone to be aware of what goes on in this area of sports that really is big time.
The last race was the "classic". Some of the horses ran their last race here as 3 yr olds. Some of the other 9 heats included 2 yr olds that will be part of next year contenders for the triple crown (the kentucky derby, the belmont and the preakness).
Just passing info on here for those who would enjoy broading their sports education.
BTW. I didn't do too good this race, but by no means got zipped either.....
There are alot of sites to visit to get info on this, I have been interested for many many years, but finally have almost a basic understanding about what is involved.....
This is just for the community here... I am sure that some peeps here know alot more than I......
.......am looking forward to next year
