I seen in a John Wayne movie the other night, they shot and killed the same guy 3 times. Twice was in an open field running from the law,(same scene exactly)and then again the same guy in the saloon in town. Low on stunt doubles back then I guess

Toad...all you do is close the 3...took about 2 seconds and they never appear again

Cool site....although many that I read were this-happens-VERY-fast (like, a scene that shows a shot of a blast charge or person who shouldn't be there) and a ton of the this-was-there-in-one-scene-but-not-in-the-next

I just looked over the LOTR page, it says in the background during the first big fight, a car is seen driving across the screen from left to right.
I missed that the first 4 times?, I must be slipping. Need to watch it again I guess

There are actually people who are employed to see these things (mistakes) and report to the Film Producers (like 20th Century Fox and etc..), saw it on TV, quite impressive.

I actually caught a mistake in a movie we were watching the other day. The movie "Windtalkers". There is a scene where the soldiers are jumping over barbed wire during a battle and Christian Slater is firing an M-1 rifle for about 2 screen shots but when they show him again he is firing a Thompson submachine gun.

I enjoy finding stuff like this when I watch movies. Here are a few I've noticed myself. I never knew there was a site devoted to this kind of stuff; I'll definitely check it out.

ClubMed, how does one go about applying for one of these jobs?

Highlander- In the bar, Brenda orders a drink and never does drink any. However, the level in the glass drops dramatically.

Star Wars- The level of the blue liquid in the glass fluctuates, even though nobody drinks from it. In certain versions of the film, a stormtrooper bumps his head. In certain versions of ROTJ, there are the disappearing TIE fighters.

The Patriot- There's a flag with WAY too many stars for the time.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom- A dude is firing his bolt action rifle. The gun jams, but there is still a retort and a poof of muzzle smoke, then an empty shell pops out.
