MP3 Player Recommendation

Hi from a new guy,

I'd like to buy a MP3 player within the next few months (X-mas present?) and am interested in opinions on which ones are best. I'm sure I want a hard drive based unit, but would appreciate recommendations of units based on other features (sound, display, download method, etc.).

MPMan produces great MP3 players i have one

I have a archos Jukebox 6000, I like it but From what I hear the Ipod would be better. I would recomend the Ipod simply because it looks better probaly gets better battery life. Although the archos battery life isnt that bad.
