upgrade from 98? i pressume you are talking about windows 98, im not talking about the ooperating system. im talking about thier office products.

yep,i get the same bull crapola from win xp pro. i reinstalled 2 days ago with no calling needed. then i noticed something i didnt like,so i reformatted and reinstalled again yesterday. now i keep getting a little pop up baloon that wants me to register.


i am hoping that the sys 32 file i replaced with a copy will take care of this registration thing,but if it doesnt,guess i ll have to call AGAIN


last time the lady wasnt very jovial. if i gotta do it again,i may be the non-jovial one.

xp pro? Shouldn't have that problem with xp pro. I opted not to register my xp pro.

I have heard that the XP Home is worse for this tho.

But Xp Pro and Win2kPro no not heard that or have that problem. Just with Office Pro edition .
