Good computer pranks/jokes???

Hello good people!


Just wonderin' if you guys can recommend any good computer pranks or jokes...I'll take any kind you can think of.

Whether it's a good link that will scream, "I'm looking at naked men" while flashing rainbow colors or one that will turn the screen upside down doesn't really matter to me. Of course ones that are more difficult to shut down are preferred.


If you have any that you don't think the mods will like, PM it to me...nothing will offend me, I promise!

Taking a snapshot of an application, then making it their wallpaper, hiding the icons & start bar...I'll take stuff like that as well.

I remember a thread with some pranks a while back, but I didn't locate it during my 2 second search.

Change the targets on shortcuts but keep the icon the same. So, for example, they double-click on the Word icon and it opens Excel.

Turn the power supply switch off in the back of the computer. Most people don't think to look there if their PC doesn't power up.

If they are close enough to your computer, like in the next cubicle, route your sound card to their speakers, then play random sounds.

Take a screen shot of the current desktop. Use that screen shot as the background. Then hide all the icons you can and lower the taskbar. Its funny

Take a print screen of the desktop and use it for their background.

Now when they try to move something it is just a bitmap If they move great for a quick annoyance.

Macintosh was better than pc for sound pranks.

You sould make the sound of a gun for each keystroke. When typing it sounds like a machinegun and when the last key is struck you get the richochet

And whatever else you do, make sure you do the old scotch tape trick. Just put a little piece of tape on the bottom of the mouse so the ball can't roll. That'll be a good starter.
