Well, theoretically its possible that it could be female or male. But, the female psyche is not wired for this type of behaviour. At least that's what it seems like to me. Look at 9/11 terrorists. All male.
Could be a team of male-female duo ala Bonnie & Clyde though.
see, I would only think that it was a woman if the sniper had been killing in waves like, 1 week every month . But I don't think a woman is mad at the world every day of the month

My prediction: male, three names (e.g. Lee Harvey Oswald, John Wayne Gacy, Osama Bin Laden, etc), ex-military, and white. We should start an office pool. And when people find out who he is everyone that knows him will say they can't believe it because he's such a nice guy.
I agree with J-Excel. And I'm not the only one around here. It's amazing how eerily similar his prediction is to ones by some of my friends here. Identical in fact.
