Can someone explain PayPal to me?

Just wondering how paypal works etc... is there like a membership fee or anythign like that? Are there re-ocurring charges??

Hmm i signed up with them, and in one of the emails i got from then it had this

PayPal has charged a $1.95 membership fee to your credit card.

I presume this is a 1 off fee???

Wow! I never got charged... wonder if it's because you're out of the US or a new Ebay thing...(they just bought them)

Hmm could be cuz i'm outa the US.... hopefully there wont be any ongoing fee's....

Well, 1.95 is really a small fee if it's going to be convenient for you to use it, and paypal is really a lot easier than sending checks and waiting for them to clear or hassling with money orders...

yeh, actually its about $3.50 australian hehe but i know what ya saying about it being a small amount. But yeh i don't really know how much i'll use it. I only joined up so i could make a donation to a online music video club... don't really know if i'll be using it for anything else....
