Own(ed) a handgun?

With the recent discussion about guns, I was wondering if you own or have owned a handgun? What model? Do you carry? Hunt with it?

I'm starting to think I should have gotten a handgun instead of my shotgun this summer

....MP's - just as normal cops - rely on their sidearm tremendously. I know I'll pick it up fast but it couldn't have hurt to have practice before hand. I used to own a Crossman model 1008 C02 pellet pistol...that was fun

. By this time next year, I'll be carrying this daily.

Someday, I'd like to own either/both the Glock or a variant of the Colt 1911, such as a Para Ordinance model or one fromSafari Arms.

Let's see,

My wife has her Colt Gov't Model 380 in Satin Nickel finish.

I normally pack my PA63 in 9x18MAK with custom Bacote grips.

I have my James Knapp custom built Colt 1911 (series 80 frame), Camp Perry grade match pistol. '

My brother has my FEG 9mm right now.

I have a .22 revolver and a .22 Llama semi-auto.

And last but not least, my .45 cal Cap and Ball. (I built from a kit with my nephew before he died in a car accident.)

I've owned and sold several more!

These are my toys. I don't carry though. I am considering getting a CCW permit just because it is legal now and if it ever is a restricted I will be granfathered.

My favorite for carry is my full size Springfield Armoury 45ACP with a few modifications, Hi ride beavertail grip safety, Ed Brown match barrel and bushing, Full length guide rod, Low profile Trijicon nite sites, Combat slide stop, Combat saftey and a few other amenities.

As for hunting I use a ported 18½ barrel Marlin lever action in 45/70 with iron sites.
