Thanks I didn't know it involed all automatic handguns.

YUP!! All semi-automatics rely on a firm grip to properly complete the cycle.
(That's where the statement came from about "limp wristed" shooters don't want a semi-auto.)
BTW guys, I asked a simple question, "Why do
NONE of the Special Forces units carry Glocks?" Mntsnow attempted to answer the question, everyone else became defensive from, and based their response on personal experience.

Take your pick... but answer this....Why is the Glock one of the most common and widely recognized firearms for being a defensive pistol?.......I'll give you a few answers on that one.....Quality, Reliablity, Value.

Okay, explain why major Law Enforcement Agencies (FBI, Federal Marshalls, etc.), are replacing their Glocks with non-Glock's today? To answer your question Mntsnow, it is a facination with the Glock and it's construction. They are popular with the people that do not understand the daily requirements of combat or law enforcement. And yes, I've seen Glock's jam, mis-feed, and stove pipe, even in the hands of police officers at the range!
I've talked with some of the soldier's who field tested Glocks, and there is a wide range of reasons they didn't prefer the Glock, reliability was the major reason. I've also talked to a number of Law Enforcement Officers that were still carrying Glocks, an with the exception of a couple, they were all waiting for their agency to switch to something else.
I personally don't have anything against Glocks and have never had a problem with the ones I've fired. But when I talked to the people whos life depends on their sidearm and they all say the same, I listen!

P.S. I'm not trying to pick a fight!

I'm trying to bring to light somethings I've noticed and has raised my eyebrows. (BTW, I prefer FEG's, but that's me!
