haha... it'll be a few years before a thesis is due, but I'll start the project probably this winter or spring.

This is sweet!

I worked in a lab for a while and had several friends who were post-docs. Good luck in yours! Is this considered molecular biology or is this more in the chemical area? Mol Bio is huge in basic and clinical biological research as far as jobs after post-docs, so good luck!!!

it's actually in a fairly new field aptly titled "molecular electronics" or sometimes "moletronics"

just like w/ current electronics, once it becomes a solid state reality, it will be used across the board in applications!
