hey what is 'vice'

in terms of police stuff. like "Miami Vice" and on the show Frasier, Frasier's dad is a cop and he said "not one woman has gone just wild over me, well except for that one woman when i was in vice.... but she was a hooker"

vice is something that one does despite the moral implications.

Criminal acts with out victims sorta kinda.

like hookers, drugs, and in the prohibition years alcohol.

In other words when government tries to force its version of morality on you.

Not the government but your conscience.

Vice would always (afaik) include prostitution and gambling and may include drugs and gangs, depending on the department/bureau's setup.

Miami Vice is a good show.

The true meaning of vice is sorta related to conscience but vice squads are other people trying to force their beliefs on you.

I.E. Drugs, Gambling, sex for money. are all deemed to be vices by the govenment, much like alcohol was.

I always associated it with hookers, and drugs, and of course murder Too many bad movies I guess
