Scared Again!!

Well most remember what happened to my son Mike a few months ago, so all I can say is tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my terrified life

The Big 16 and he's got the truck polished, and full of gas. Yes I'm shaking even thinking about him on the streets with friends. especially after the last ordeal.
He's taking the test in the morning, and he says he'll pass it no problem.

All I can say is
Happy 16th Birthday Son

lol, good luck

Being a teen of the male variety myself, I can easily see why you are weary (yeah, that makes you feel better, doesn't it). MOST of the guys in my high school class have been into some form of accident or another at least once...I know several who have wrecked multiple vehicles (some due to winter + unsafe speeds + inexperience). There's a reason male insurance rates are high...

Tell him to have hella fun but be safe and smart (not a whole lot I see much of).....one of the happiest moments in my life was when I got to drive my car by myself...it was awesome. I drove around that entire afternoon, as soon as I got home from the test.

good for him, tell him congrats (as i'm sure you've already done). i remember when i first got my license. it actually wasn't all that great cause my first car was a stick, and i didn't really know how to drive a stick yet, so i was actually frustrated a lot (of course now i won't drive anything but a stick ). but yeah, make sure he stays safe, i don't know how i survived our high school's parking lot after school.
