Ok, a few days ago I got my credit-card bill. I noticed that they messed up how I would like to pay, and said to myself that I would call them during the week and have it sorted out.
So, today I call them at 3pm (that's when I got home), and inquire about the slight mix up. The nice lady tells me that I have to send in a written letter to ask them to alter the method of payment, or I can send a fax. So I’m like “Great, by when does it have to be in?”.
She “Today 4pm. Otherwise it won’t take effect this month”.
So I thank her, get the contact info and set out to send the fax.
First I open a word document and type up the letter, then I print it out and sign it. Finally I proceed to scan it…shock..the scanner is not working. I unplug and re-plug, switch off and on, I don’t know what’s going on, meanwhile time is ticking by, it’s 3:30pm!.
So, I have to revert to plan B. I open up Photoshop and proceed to sign, using the pen tool, for the first 30 tries it looks like crap, I’m freaking out!, it’s 3:45pm!
Finally after what seemed like 400 tries I find it looks half way decent, so I add some Gaussian Blur
and copy & paste into my word document and fax it to them.
I wait a few minutes and then call to make sure it’s alright.
The lady informs me that she got the fax and that everything is ok, the changes will take effect this month.
I look at the watch, it’s 3:59pm.
Ahh Photoshop, what would I do without you!?
