Doing stuff with your kids

My sons are 16 & 20 (think I said 19 while ago...ooopps he had a birthday).

In today's world, I am very lucky they both still enjoy doing things with their mom. They even ask me to go places (and not just cuz I'd pay). They will ask me to go to the mall or to the show ... just us spending time together. We get pretty silly sometimes as we're eating and end up with tears running down our faces while other's just look at us like we're crazy.

Make me feel good.... how about you & yours?

I have no kids. but when i do i wish we will get along throughout thier adult life.

Yup. Do it now, becuse when they have kids of their own, they're gonna be too dang busy

moonwork, it's wonderful to hear that you have such a great relationship with your teenage boys...not many parents can say the same.

I have a 5 yr old that is such a Daddy's boy! I'm divorced so this means sooooo much to me!!!

Just 5 minutes ago he couldn't sleep, so he yells down for me from the top of the stairs. I lie down with him and he asks me to rub his hands & tummy...this happens once in a while and I love when it does!

We do everything together...go on walks, feed the fish, go out on the Gulf of Mexico on our boat, chase squirrels around our yard, etc. I hope he never grows up...

I don't have any kids, but you sure have me wanting to call my mom, just to say hi right now.
