From WWII all the way to the latest with 9/11...throughout it are short articles on generals, famous leaders on both sides, battles and even the uprising in Flight 93 over Penn. The pictures is what really makes this book special - very up close and personal photos, many that are award winning...if you're interested in this history stuff, I highly recommend picking it up, if only to browse through the pictures http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...lance&n=507846 Right next to it was about an 80pg, paperback Commerative Edition of US News & World Report (actual book, not magazine), all about 1 year after 9/11...I almost bought it but didn't want to spend the $$$.
