Anyone seen the new H2 truck? Looks nice, but I still prefer the original.

Supposedly the H2 handles the Duramax engine, which is nice. The real HMMWVs can be beat off the line by a hamster.

Have GM send you information about both and you get a real nice information packet, complete with 2 fullsize posters of the H1 and H2

The H2 is aight...if I was to get one, I'd go for a total military surplus H1 because the only reason to have one is to go offroad.

See one the other day, they're going for closer to the SUV look to jump on the bandwagon.. not sure how well it goes offroad now though. Now you have to make sure you don't scratch the paint the older ones it still had a flat paint on it so the scratches didn't show up as well.

I drive past one every morning on the way to work. Yellow & black, and it'll never see the end of the ashphalt.

A local photo & camera store bought it as a promotion and it sits on the corner as a big yellow "billboard" advertisement for their business.

I read a short review in a mag that said GM expects only 20% of buyers to actually take it off-road.

It IS capable, and much more capable than any other standard equipped SUV....the H1 still kicks it's buttocks though.

i don't really like it. i'm sure it handles much better than most SUV's, but it just isn't a hummer to me. It's like making a viper with a 4.0 v-8 and just general tone-downs. sure it'll sell for half the price and still beat most cars out there, but it's just not a viper.
