2004 Chrysler Crossfire ...Yuck IMO

I generally find different to be appealing, yes, I like the PT Cruiser, but this I find ugly.
Crossfire

I like the front end [PIC2] (anybody else see a late 80's chev Monte Carlo there? Funny, this should be on the new Chev, not a Dodge).
The profile [PIC3], from wheel-well to wheel-well is 100% Mustang.
They don't have much to offer for original design over the front 2/3, but their only attempt, the back end completely ruins it for me. (Not counting that Porsche pop up wing in the design
...another rip off) If they tapered the rear fenders into the body more, it would almost have a Viper GTS feel to it. A hypothetical Viper tie-in, would be the only Chrysler hand me down as far as looks go, which would be wise for a Chrysler product, instead of the mis-matched mess this car ended up being.

I dunno...

AT least it is interesting. It's not shaped lie a bulbous wedge or a porpoise!

There's a new Chevy coming soon, that looks really nice- but I can't remember the name for it.

I saw shades of what look like to me Porsche 928 in some of the pics. rounded back end, long(ish)nose, etc..
I see what you mean on the front end, it looks okay.
The state fair is going on in Dallas, and sometimes they have quite a few concept cars there in the automotive show. Gonna take a trip there this weekend and see wassup...

Looks a little like an Audi TT too. Just stretch the cab out.

I see a bit of Audi TT from in front of the rear wheel, but the flat rear fenders sure stop it there.

IMO, it looks like what a PT Cruiser coupe would look like.

If think it's so so. Not really ugly, but I don't like it either.

I like it except for the front end/grille.

You couldn't give me a PT Cruiser. The styling is OK, but what a piece of junk mechanically + no horsepower.

Speed-sensitive deployable rear spoiler
Honestly, do these things do a damn thing?
What difference does it make if you have a spoiler at 35 mph? What difference does it make if its fully deployed at 35mph vs 70mph? Just something else to break IMO Just put it on there or don't... drives me nuts on the porsche too lol
Rear wheel drive though, thats kind of suprising in this front wheel drive world these days.

It's OK looking, I wouldnt' buy it.. and if I won it... prolly sell it for another car lol
Like Skuz said... its "so so"
