I dont think some of you get the jist of the story, and its just that a story. Its not something factual. So dont take it so literal.
Its not said in so many ways but the mother(wife) is pregnant w/ the child. The parents have found out that its going to be a boy. They also know that the mother has about 3 weeks to live and the birth of the child will not come before she passes. The only donor available is the husband but the problem is he's alive and isnt deathly sick. This here is the problem. The only way his blood will carry on through the love of his life is for her to have the child. If he gives her his heart he will live on through his child and as part of her soul. He is sacraficing(sp?) his life for his child and his wife. This is to me is complete and true love. It is the ability to give up everything that is you for the wealth of others, especially your wife and unborn son. He is commiting suicide but he is giving life at the same time.
This is just a story to me and maybe Im looking to deep but this struck a chord w/ me. A good chord to know that people will do extraordinary things for the better of others. Its well written and structured. The idea itself is good although I havent seen JohnQ.
Art is Art, it differs from me to you. I see art everywhere good bad and ugly. I really appreciate the time and thinking that this guy went through to write this story down. His ability to draw emotions out is extremly good. Read it again in a quite room w/o any distractions. Listen to the words dont just see them. Its genuine emotion in there. In a brief story you feel pain, hate, desperation and love. You didnt even pay 8.50 for it either.
