Man survives being 'compacted' in trash

huh...way way back I posted a news story about a woman who died in a trash compactor...that would just suck

Ah whatever...survival of the fitest I suppose. It's a dangerous world we live in..lol

A freshman at my school jumped down a garbage shoot last year mistaking it for a laundry shoot. This was at an unused library, the power was still on, and the compactor was still running at the bottom.

The fall was from the 2nd or 3rd floor, and so it broke one or both of his legs on impact.

According to what his friends saw or heard, because his legs were busted, he was unable to climb out when the motion activated compacting mechanism started to close in.

The EMT I talked with who'd been there said the guy's friends were very descriptive of the screams...

A horrible story that sickens me to this day, and for some reason I shared it here.

It's surprising what drunks tend to survive, when it will kill a sober person. Something about being relaxed and not tensed up.

I've been to car crashes where you would've sworn the driver would have been severely injured, but the drunked driver staggered away under his own steam..
