I'm from Southeast Missouri...so of course I'm rooting for the Cardinals.

Yeah, you guys caught us at a bad time. Thing is, come playoffs, Schilling and Johnson will be different pitchers.

That and the Rockies pitching staff helped us find out offense again.

Should be a great series though.

Here's the pitching rotation you'll be facing:

Game 1: RJ
Game 2: Schill
Game 3: Miggy or Helling (should be Patterson...IMO)
Game 4: RJ
Game 5: Schill

I don't think they'll pitch RJ in 1 and 4 will they. They pitched Schilling last year for the first time on 3 days rest and he did great, but I don't know if RJ can do it.

That would be bad to see Maddux in pin stripes of any kind.

Remember, Johnson closed the game on 3 days rest (I know that's different from starting).

RJ and Schill can complete games and right now our bullpen is suspect. Of couse last year we won without a BP, so I have better hopes.

With the Cards swinging the sticks like they are, don't want to take any chances. Can't play for tomorrow in a 5-game series.
