ARRGGG!!!

my TV busted...
some of ypu may think this is a good thing, but it is nice on sunday afternoon when watching Da Bears.


Should I get it repaired or get a new one? there is no warrenty, i think it is a crap shoot with them in that the warrenty costs almost as much as a TV.

I am pretty sure the tube is still good, it starts up and then dies after about 30 seconds, with just grey picture. i am guessing the tuner.

What do you people think?

My TV blew up the day, it does exactley the same thing. I would be very interested in the responses.
I feel your pain pbharris. Sometimes I find myself sitting in front of it, just staring into the continuous blackness. Desperately holding onto the small amount of hope, hope that it will instantly come back to life and entertain me for years to come....or maybe thats just me.

You guys are sad, You should have had back up plans.

I have two TV's of my own. One in my office and one in my bedroom. I also have a TV tuner for the computer i dont use if your really desperate Sven (sorry harris, Your a little too far away )

Before the computer was brought into my house TV was my entire life.

There are 4 people living at my house and we have 7 TV's On in each room except for the bathrooms and my parents bedroom.

Well, it just depends. I went to Best Buy last year and got a 32" scratch and dent TV for 300 bucks! It was a great deal and it's been a great TV.

I love scratch and dent stuff!

Luckily I have 4 TV's in the house incase of just such an emergency

WALMART - they have some great prices on TV's. We too have many TV's - every bedroom has one, as well as the Livingroom and Den.

As far as Da Bears go - assuming your 21.... there's always the saloon.
