I take it you all are non-smokers then??
I smoke, and was perfectly happy with the smoking section vs the non-smoking sections in restaurants. Made sense to me that those folks might want to be segregated. What I don't really understand is those establishments, or states, that have outlawed it completely.
I guess thats fine, its their choice, and I don't patronize them.....but I think its a little ignorant of them to only pick on one group.
I'd like to see seperate sections, or outlawing the following in those same places:
Lets keep the blue haired ladies and men that wear enough perfume/cologne to choke a horse in their own section. Its bad enough that the fragrances they choose are less than appealing. Do I really need to smell it from 50 feet away and have it linger in the air for an hour after they are gone? I think not. (in all fairness, some younger folks are guilty of this as well)
And though I am a parent, I think we should have a seperate section for children as well. Maybe several sections based on ages of the child. As precious as they are, when I'm out having dinner, the last thing I want to hear is your kid crying at 115 decibles. Or getting dizzy watching them race around between tables playing that cute little game of tag while avoiding eating their vegetables.
Lets not even get started about having a seperate section for those folks who aren't embarrassed about performing "bodily noises" in public places such as bars/restaurants. I think we can all agree that segregating them is a good call. Whatever you do though, don't put them with the smokers. Too many open flames in that place. Could cause a tragedy of incredible proportions! Maybe we could put them in the infant section. Might as well be with all the other belchers and uh, you know, noise makers that come out the other end.
Geez, now that I think about it, the number of possible seperate sections could go on an on.
Lets seperate the yuppies from the truckers, they seem to speak a different language and dress differently anyway. Lawyers and the French I think should be outlawed altogether....probably not a lot of arguement on that one. And I think it makes sense to have seperate sections for yankees fans too in places outside of New York. They're a rather obnoxious sort. And what about the rich? They offend me quite a bit with their fancy clothes, jewlery, and fine wines......I say we lump them into the section for Republicans. They probably want to be together anyway. Makes it easier to network with each other for the next election fraud or corporate scandal.
After all, this only makes sense right? I mean, going out in public should be MY definition of what a normal, decent, unoffensive, public should be like. Why on earth should I/we be expected to put up with other people when we venture out into the world??
lol
