OK, for those of you in So. Cali you know about the new fire in by Azusa and above Glendora. It's so close to me my lawn is covered with ash and there is ash falling like dust. We can't breathe because the air is "bitter". I am uploading pics right now that I got from a park a block away from me.

Basically this fire is very close to the city of glendora. for those of you outside of so. cali the fire just started yesterday, and is out of hand right now and burning very close to the outskirts of L.A.

Im about 35 miles away and had the same ash coverage overnight, the ocean breeze sort of held it off during the day which made for a FANTASTIC colorful sunset---way hot today, I wouldnt wanna be up on that fireline---great pics---too close for me!

I was just watching it on the news and they were saying how visable it is thruout the basin being so clear tonight---ran out to drop off some mail and sure enough its VERY visable and im easily 30+ miles away---some of the forest out there hasnt burnt for 40 years so they have a giant problem and the wind is whipping around---so far no injurys or property loss but over 4000 acres toasted...

i saw it from fullerton last night(the cloud of smoke) and couldnt believe it, but then i was driving to school this morning on the 57 and sure enough there was the fire smoke to be seen

today our school became a rescue ground for the evacuees. Our gym was the place where the evacuees stay. Half of our parking lot was filled with Red Cross rescue vehicles. Almost all sport activities have been cancelled. When you walk outside, you breathe the ash.

Yeah we have one going here in Morgan Hill and Gilroy about 15 miles from us. I don't think they have a good handle on it just yet.
