Stupid question...

And now deep thoughts.. by Jack Handey.

Ok was talking to a friend, and we got onto the topic of bellybuttons. Well as we started talking, we thought about it and puppies and some other animals don't have bellybuttons. So how do they get their nutrition while still in the womb? No umbilical cord (otherwise they'd have a bellybutton)

maybe animals just heal cleaner than us? But I could have swore my dog has belly button, will have to check now. if there is one will take a pic.

Edit: I think they just heal cleaner than us human folks, My dog doesn't have a "bellybutton" but she does have a very small red round smooth scar of where it was.

I really never have paid attention to things like this.

Yes, dogs have belly buttons. Just don't expect to find anything similiar to what you have...

Shahani, I believe that was the original argument that any mammal not born in an egg has to have a bellybutton. Ummm where!?
