Idea for you chem majors

Alright, well today I had this brainstorming idea, and well, here it is.

Most drinks are to be drunk cold, the cooler the better. Well alot of the times that is just impossible becuase there is not any ice/refrigerator. So, someone needs to design and make a simple enclosed capsule that produces some sort of endothermic reaction (I think endo, possibly exo? Always get the two confused), that can be dropped down in to our drinks. Presto, within a couple seconds our drinks are at a cool 45 degrees.

Plausible, possible, economical? What do you all think?

And Poisonous!

oh yea, he said enclosed

Actually kinda like the "instant heat" packs you can get now, used for sports injuries.

There's a bunch of patented devices already. Here's one.

at the international spy museum they had these 'ice cubes' you kept in the freezer. When you smacked them against a table or something they lit up lol

I like to do it the old fashioned way - beer in the freezer served in a frosted glass.

I guess I am odd, I like my beer between 45-55 Fahrenheit. Nothing wrong with beer straight from the cellar. I don't like ice.
