Anyone know what "Dwell" is, anymore? |
Realy that is about right, it takes more energy to jump a wider gap.
But you want a balance to.
To wide of a gap and the charge knocks the spark out.
To little and its not enough spark to ignite it.
Nowadays .045 to .060 should work.
Dwell? Yes the amount of degrees the points are closed or is it open I forget.
