Mix my name up Stephen, and you get shentep...add an A and you've got Ashentep. I thought it sounded pretty cool back in the day, so I started using it during Quake deathmatches, and its followed me ever since.

Warthog = A-10 Warthog...I used it back in the 30 day's of AOHell trial when I first went online. That was when I wanted to join the USAF and be a pilot ...used it ever since.

Because when I first got here, I didn't know diddley-squat about computers. Despite my best efforts, some little details are sticking like sap to my knot-like head, and I've been branching out a bit! Still a Knothead, tho'. |

I was in Turkey last year, reading a history of Byzantium, and came across a description of the Emperor Romanus: Quote: |
Son of the wonderfully named Theophylact the Unbearable, an Armenian peasant who had somehow saved Basil I from the Saracens at Tephricearond and had been rewarded with a place in the Imperial guard, seemingly shortly after Romanus' birth in about 870.
| I agreed that the name was wonderful, and adopted it. (Unfortunately, the full name is too long for TechIMO.)

hmm
There was another thread like this once, but my connection is too slow to find it
vass0922
vass = short for 'Vassago' - character in a book called Hideaway by Dean Koontz
0922 - memorable date
Maybe I should back to dialup.. it'd be faster than this cable stuff
