do you thrive on sugar?
i notice that if i don't have very sugary meals like pasta, rice or purified sugars like table sugar of course, i get really tired and just want to fall asleep even if i've only been up for like 6 hours and slept for 12 hours before that.
do you guys ever get this?

Too much sugar makes me tired. But it also gives me vivid colorful dreams.

Too much refined crystal sugar is bad. But if you feel listless and constantly tired, your sugar level is low and no harm is eating natural sugars in fruits. Never harm you so try apples/pears/peaches all rich in sugars for energy.

When I was a kid, I used to eat sugar by the spoonful. (A fat little kid.) These days, I have almost no desire for sweets; I drink my coffee black, and seltzer is my only soft drink. I skip desserts, except for those with chocolate, and it's the bitter, not the sweet, that attracts me to chocolate. The only mixed drinks I care for are martinis, and I don't even care much for fruits.

I am extremely sugar sensitive. Caffeine too. But the sugar is the one that gets me the worst. Sugar in all forms can be very addictive. I've even heard alcohol addiction is sugar addiction but don't quite believe it. I went to a healthy-lifestyle seminar and sugar was the main topic. When I stick to the healthy-lifestyle program, which is basically drink lots of water, eat primarily protein and no processed sugar, and light exercise, I feel much better.
