Well you can give it a shot. I'll post one pic here for everyone to see for those on dialup so you can at least see the snake. I'll post my favorite one out of the bunch.

hahah Redwolf, that snake does look like the poisounous coral snake, but it is not the poisionous one. Its called a milk snake. The milk snake can actually eat the poisous vanged coral snake, however it can not eat other poisionous snakes. this snake in the picture does not have any fangs.

This one is perfectly harmless.

Snakes are fun!
Dont forget the kingsnake/coralsnake mantra "red on yellow, KILL a fellow--- red on black, a friend of Jack" the eastern coralsnake so closely resembles the "western" kingsnake they are often confused leading to great problems as the Coralsnake is related to the cobra and twice as toxic as a common western diamondback rattlesnake---they mimic each other and are hard to disisimilate unless you remember---again---"red on yellow, KILL a fellow, red on black, friend of Jack!"---so be careful what you pick up Steve Irwin watchers!

Great looking snake, glad you could share it!

Edit to correct silly rhyme---look below or dont handle striped snakes!

Cool pics Neo, thanks! Such beautiful children...

The saying goes like this:

"Red & Black, leave me alone"
"Red & Yellow, leave me alone"

I've handles dozens of snakes (including poisonous) and I'm a huge nature/animal fan! I don't recommend trying to figure out what kind of snake you're looking at if you encounter one in the wild. Just leave it be.

Notice how the Croc Hunter NEVER picks a snake up by it's neck?
He doesn't want to risk injury to the snake...gotta love that guy!
