I was in our weekly lab meeting until 10:30 AM. I went to the office to turn in the conference room key and say both towers on fire on TV.

Very touching song.

He had a show in center court of the pentagon Monday Morning 8am.

I was at a scientific meeting (AOAC International) in Kansas City. A guy got a call from his wife, left the room to answer and when he came back told us what was happening. The word quickly spread throughout the room and as soon as the speaker finished, we all bolted for the hotel lobby to see what was happening. I was in total disbelief.

I was already at work. It wasn't until some of my folks started coming in later that I heard about it. It was a time unlike any other...

This was the only day i didn't watch the TV in the morning. I slept in a little too late. I found out during my first period class at school.

I was at work and heard it on the radio and was thinking it was some kind of joke from the radio station but shortly learned otherwise and call my family in NY. I have familly who work at the WTC but not the twin towers but at the time I didn't know what building she worked in, I recieved a call 3 hrs later saying she was alright but really scared and shacken up.

I was sitting at home watching TV when my uncle from portland called and said that something had happend in NY and that i should turn on CNN.

I didn't belive what i saw at first, i thought it had to be a simulation or movie trailer

His brothers daugther worked on the 37th floor in tower A
but she had called in sick that day

I was across the East River in NY. I could not see the Towers from my office window but I could see that on that bright sunny day the sky was filled with sparkling glitter, which turned out to be sheets of paper at high altitude.

I saw dots jump from the buildings. I saw the buildings crumble, live, and the avalanch of dust rolled across the river into Brooklyn.
