Another 9/11 Attempt In Germany

Hey all not sure how far this story has circulated but I did see it on CNN International.

This is a little to close to home for my comfort. I live in Weisloch Germany which is just out side of Heidelberg... and Next to Waldorf (where the people lived) My dad works at the place you see in the first pic. I drive by there every day. I find it sad people wanted to do this.

Yeah, I heard about it on my local news. I wondered if anyone from TechIMO was close to there.

Again its moslems, this time from Turkey. Prolly have links to some Moslem/Arab terrorist network or the other. Dude had pipe bombs, guns, and lot of chemicals.

These people need to executed.

I can only wonder what our school will do... info on what happend didnt get out really till after school was out for the weekend so I havent head anything from them... Im sure we will probably have school but we will have more then just a few military guys walking around... Its just scary that they didnt know where they planed to set that stuff off..... and personally.. I've seen how the high school is protected... it wouldnt be hard to get to it... the other two schools are actually on base and are nearly imposible to get to...

It's that time of the yaer agian

In my building (500 apartments) everyone has been asked to switch on all lights for 15 minutes from 9pm to 9:15pm to commemorate the sad day.

At work, I guess we will observe a 1 minute silence at 9:15am when it actually happened.

The day is so clearly etched in my mind because of proximity to the site and the fact that I was able to see it happening from my living room.

Very sad day and I wish it just gets over.

Here in the UK there is to be a one minute silence at 1:46pm (8:46am New York time). Public buildings, shops, offices etc are participating, and each fire station will have the firemen lined up observing the silence too.

Can't believe a years gone by already.
