How much does your computer weigh?

I remember seeing a thread at the old place with this title and thought "way too much time on you're hands" .

Well, I just took my main computer out on the porch to clean it and decided to weigh it .

46 pounds.

Does my system need to go to Weight Watchers .

Maybe I ought to get back to work, huh?

Mike

Darned if I didn't do this just yesterday. Took the thing out on the front porch and blew out the dust with a can of compressed air! But I didn't weigh mine. However, it was difficult holding the thing with one arm while dusting it out with the other hand--so my son did the holding--so I would estimate about 45-50 pounds. That's without the little stand with the wheels.

That sucker sure had a lot of dust, and I just did this last January.

1/4" steel case? rainwater? sand?

Tazman , i hate the fact that you just made me be a complete friggin moron and take my scale out of my bathroom and weigh my pc.

it comes from parts unknown like a wrestler and weighs in at almost a whopping 50 pounds. i see my pc is a fat bastid and needs to lose a few hard drives so i will stop looking at other systems.

i need therapy obviously.

i'd estimate that mine weighs about 50 pounds.

steel case and 2 CD drives don't help either.

I would estimate my newest monster system to weigh in around the 60 to 65 pound mark with all the drives that it has

It's my DVD Ripping and authoring system and also provides backup storage space for my network at home
