New inventive ways to pay for school?

Hey guys..... I'm trying to think up interesting and inventive ways to pay for school. Something other than work.
I already do Ebay, and suprisingly that did help pay for my books this semester!!
Any weird, interesting suggestions? (With people like vass in here, I know there's gotta be something good)

Get your dad to work for the University

Invent a time machine, go back, tell yourself to invest in Quailcomm, and when the stock soars 2000% (no joke) for that one day, tell yourself to sell.

Start prohibition up agian and become the next Al Capone (just don't evade taxes ).

Join the ROTC.

Try research labs. Some psych depts run long research projects, which they pay you for.

Just avoid the biology/medicine/physiology research labs - guinea pig is right! The stick you with all sorts of needles and stuff!

Hope you find something. But realistically work is what you need to make money.

Cheers

sell plasma... if it is a big campus, I am sure there is a lab near by. Here it was like $40 for the first time, and $15 twice a week thereafter. They just take the plasma and put all the good stuff back in. The reason they are centered around campuses is that they need a healthy supply. Those sort of places typically attract the homeless which are generally in poor health.

Gomer: All I can think is ouch.
The reason I thought of this was because some of my friends do weirdo stuff to get money. I do have a friend who was a guinea pig for all kinds of stuff. Once, he even got paid to drink beer, and let them observe his drunkness.
I figured you guys would have amusing and inventive ways yourself If any really good ones, I'd give them a go!

BTW, mickwish, I do work, but could always use that extra money!!!!!

vass: No - I don't want any webcams involved, if that's what yer getting at!!

I thought about making a website and advertising to companies to put me through school.

I wa involved in some pysch research back in the early 80's when I was at uni. We did the Tarot card stuff like they did at Duke U trying to find some ESP.

It was fun; I was no good at it so no doubt the aliens will leave me alone!

Didn't get paid though. Those were the days of doing stuff for research's sake not money.

Cheers

Are scholarships out of the question?

Trust me, I recently did the scholarship search thing, and you wouldn't believe how many of them stipulate "female only." They come in two flavors, "person" or "woman."

Not only that, but if you're past the normal age, there are lots of "back to school" scholarships too.

Now if you're talking about graduate school... assistanceships are the onlyway to go.

There are CD-roms that are nothing but lists of scholarships. Just pick one up, and search for ones that fit your description, then write lots of application letters.
