School started today....

Well, school started today at my university. I am sitting in the Chem-Phys computer lab, waiting until it's time for my last class. I'm exhausted!!!!
I had microbiology and lab for 2 hours this morning...
Then I had to wait for one and a half hours in line so I could get the absolute worst parking pass of all time.
Then, I had to wait in line again so I could eat at the student center.
Then, I went to my far far away parking space with my new tag, and took the BUS from that parking spot to my class. (Yes, it's so far away I need to take a bus once I get there!)
Have I mentioned I'm too old for this? I hate lines!!
I have Chemistry II next....
Does anyone else have first day of school stories???

School seems like a welcome change for the 40 a week grind. Spend four years in school, waiting to get out, then spind the rest of your career wishing you were still there.

It's so long ago, I have forgotten everything.

Only remember the good times, though. In the beginning its always like that. Once you get settled in, get used to the place/teachers/friends, you'll remember these as the best times you've had.

Cheers

I've been in school since July. Stupid weird Devry. Today, I spent 2 hours in my tcm248 class waiting for it to end. Then I spent 2 hours in my tcm230 class waiting for my test grade just to find out the the idiot teacher messed up the answer key so everyone with one version of the test got a really low grade. After that, I waited an hour for my next class to start. Then I sat in my humn210 class for 3 hours trying to stay awake. Being in school from 7:30am to 3pm sucks.

I couldn't have said it better myself! School rocks!!!
If I knew then what I know now...well, I would probably still party, sleep all day, skip classes, drink too much, etc. But darnit I would be better at it!

How about work AND school!

I spent the last 7 years working full-time and studying part-time. Most of it was by distance education, but you still have to study a lot!

At least no lines with distance education, inless you count the lines at the post office when you send in your stuff!

Finished for now, though. May start something else next year or the year after. A glutton for punishment I am!

Cheers
Mick
