Freind needs medical help

I have a friend 1200 miles away from me who was just diagnosed with an auto-immune desease, and she's getting the royal screwover by her dr. Can anyone point me to a web site that will help us find a specialist in her area? Thanks in advance!

Sorry to hear that. But we need more details. Diabetes? Crohn's? Lupus? Arthritis? or what?

http://www.remicade-ra.com/b_living_with_ra/b7.jsp (mainly for rheumatoid arthritis)

I could maybe find some more specific if you had a name for the autoimmune disorder. PM me if you don't want to post it.

Cheers

OK, She was diagnosed with CREST, a form of Scleroderma, which is a musculoskeletal disease. We're looking for a Rhumetologist with experience in this problem in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.

I'd suggest sending her to this site, and then she can post in the online support section.

http://sclerodermasupport.com/

And they have a support centre locator as well http://sclerodermasupport.com/medica...nics/index.htm Two in Texas, both in Houston though.

Hope this helps

Cheers
Mick
