What was your Favorite Car?
Usually the first car you owned was your favorite car...for me that would be a VW beetle....yeah, it was fun..great memories. But my favorite cars was the car I bought when I got out of the Army.
It was a 1965 Plymouth Fury 111. Bright red with a 383 cu.in motor that got horrible gas mileage, but pegged the fun-o-meter.
Thus would explain my moniker, which was also my CB handle when I was running around town in the Fury delivering Pizzas for Domino's.

I owned a few cars, but in past my favorite car was my 90 pontiac grandam, drove sooo nice.
now presently my favorite rig is my bf's he lets me drive it often.
Its a 2000 Issuzi Amigo with 4" lift, Tires 33's, custom steal rear and front bumpers with remote controled winch mounted inside of front bumper. Will have to post a pic one day. Has build in air compresser for the tires and a bunch of other goodies. its awesome to drive, drives totally nice.

In my Junior & Senior years of H.S. I had a '70 SS454 Chevelle. It was an LS5 car which was only rated at 390hp on paper. That made the insurance companies a little easier to get along with. It had an M-22 Muncie 4spd and a 12 bolt limited slip with 3.08 gears and was still the fastest car in my school with street tires on it. Those were the days when we had muscle cars in high school instead of Jap mobiles! A friend of mine had a 70 440 sixpack Challenger that with slicks on it ran 11.80 in the qtr mile at OCIR. I graduated in '80.
U.G.
Honorable mention: I also had a '68 RS/SS 396 Convertible Camaro. I bought it in pieces and never did put it together myself. It was nice having a job while lstill in school and at home. I could put all my money in my cars. Now it all goes to the wife and kids!

Uncle Gus, that sounds like my teen years, whoo hoo, as the Mask would say SMOKIN'!!
I had a 72 nova SS, 350, borg warner 4 speed, 456 posi, hooker super comp headers, flowmasters, and 3.5" exaust. ran 11.20's at the track, and loved gas stations Got it down to 10.90s once, pretty respectable for a daily driver I thought , I built it 13 years ago with my oldest son at age 3
Currently I have a 75 chevy 4x4,all stock except for the mellings cam, chrome valve covers, lol.... Ugly darned thing, but I built it with my youngest son at 8 years old Like I said it's not pretty but we play with our toys in Mo. plus wood cutting, rock hauling, ya know the stuff we have trucks for
My favorite car was a 73 Charger RT,with a 440 MAG,purpleshaft cam, 727 torqueflite, and 411 posi, plus it looked nice. If you know much about the auto industry, you'll kow that in 73, a big block car was kin of hard to come up with nananana I had a big block lol.........I was 17

Well, you guys put my Fury to shame. But then again, I was 20 with a pizza delivery guys budget at the time, no tools and living in an apartment with 2 other guys. Some day I'll have a nice rig again. For now, I'll just have to schmuck it up with the ol '77 Pontiac Catalina Station wagon.

My first car; a 1960 Peugeot 403 with 60,000 miles on it. My dad gave it to me when I graduated from college in '62. Drove from Cambridge, MA to Berkeley, CA in six days, a rider sharing the costs but not driving. Drove it back in 60 hours the following spring, sharing the driving with another guy. Put about 80,000 more on it before I finally sold it for 50 bucks in 1967.
That was a car you could actually repair. And had to; but it wasn't all that expensive. You had to pick where you were going to break down, though. Near a city with at least 2 million people gave you your best chance; failing that, a major college town.
