Two sides of the coin. Obviously, I feel , that probably(?), most of these workers were just trying to better their way of life and support their families. However , using false I.D.'s and lying about arrest( conviction) records, is not the way to go. Sooner or later, you'll get found out and lose your job. I feel kinda sorry for these floks, but they should have been straight forward and applied legally. Plus,they're taking jobs from our own counrtymen.

Most of the alleged violators were Hispanic immigrants employed as baggage handlers, janitors and maintenance workers. They were among some 40,000 Southern California airport employees investigated because of their access to restricted areas.

Q) What're they paying?
A)Minimum wage, of course.

Q) Gee whiz, and they couldn't get naturalized Americans for this kinda work??

But immigrant rights groups and unions said the government should make it easier for illegal workers to get proper papers instead of arresting them.

hmmm let's make it easier for illegals to get away with crimes... I understand that they are trying to better their lives, but do it the right way. They are screwing other LEGAL citizens from getting jobs. Personally, I say ship them back to where they came from, but that's just me.

Well, maybe this is just me, too...but...let me tell you a little story:

About a year ago, I had a little extra cash, and the blues about a romantic thing that had gone bad, so I grabbed a friend, and we holed up in a little hacienda owned by another friend, on the beach at a place known as Gringo Gulch, on Rosarita Beach, in Mexico.

So we're laying on the sand, swimming, etc., and the whole time, there's this Mexican guy in the adjacent property, just shoveling sand from the shore, and loading it up to the beach in front of the house (the tide has a tendency to take the sand away, you see.)

So this guy just worked. And worked. And worked. And worked. And worked. All day. Never stopped, never complained.

Here's the punchline: The "Owner" shows up, and began giving this Mexican a buncha nonsense about his work (i.e., how much the guy had accomplished. Geez, the guy had been set with the task of shoveling the TIDE, fer heaven's sake!).

So I went over and tried to set this guy straight, and defend this Mexican guy's efforts...this Gringo ****** just laughed at me and told me that basically, "that's how you have to treat these sons o' b*****"...etc.

So I asked him how much he was PAYING this guy....

Eight dollars. Lord save us, this guy was breaking his back for about ten hours...in the hot Mexican sun...

For eight bucks!!

And when we both started in on this *******, don't you know, that Mexican jumped in between us and DEFENDED this *******!!!

The point of the story: These people have adapted themselves to a level that virtually no Norte Americano will even approach...and Jesus, they do it CHEERFULLY!!

So I have a problem with the notion of these so-called "Illegals" supposedly "stealing" jobs from "Good" Americans.

Shoot, we won't do 'em...what's your problem? Have you had a fast-food burger lately? Heh, did you have to struggle with the guy's accent, trying to understand what he was saying?

Hahahaha...he is struggling with yours...

And...just make room folks. It ain't gonna go away, as long as the greedheads are running things. What, $6.75 as a minimum wage??? HAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!
