Ok ok ok this isn't all serious...but...
As an alternative (and very cruel) punishment for crime, say instead of death penalty, what if blindness(no offense to any blind people now, this is just a thought that hit me) was to be issued on heavy offenders?
I don't know why it hit me. Is it too similar to the penalties used in some countries where they cut off fingers, hands etc?
I'd just like some thoughts on this. Don't take it too seriously tho. No flames, cause I didn't say I was for or against it or anything.
