The one problem that I ran into with that, was I posted mine at the beginning of "the wait" and it ended up getting buried to where nobody really saw it :/

Brandon is correct, however all the moderators have also been authorized to approve photo submissions.
I try to check them often when I'm online, but there may be times when no one reviews the photos for some time. My suggestion is that if you've been waiting awhile for approval, just check to see which mods are online and send one of them a reminder via PM.
