Sleeping Gas at Work
Yes, I think they fill the A/C up with sleeping gas on Sunday night so when we come in Monday, the minute amounts keep us all just concious enough to not be any trouble. I've almost fallen asleep like seven times today, and friend of mine was joking that she has DFGHJKL printed across her forhead.
I think we need pep rallies at work. Or nap time. Whichever is cheaper.

To get into my building I have to walk past the nursey on the lower level and when I come back from lunch all the blinds are almost closed and the kiddies are napping ... I want to run in there and push a kid off his mat and have a nice nap myself.
Power naps in college were the best.

Well, it's better than those places where they wire your chair up to give you a little "jolt" from time to time, to keep you alert!
'Cause boy, I just HATE IT when that happens. |

Napping at work
Funny you should mention napping at work. There was a recent story about this. Apparently it is allowed in some places. http://www.washtimes.com/business/20020812-78684232.htm
Sorry guys, this is not an original idea.
BTW, anyone remember nap times in Kindergarden. Was it just me or was the teacher the only one actually sleeping? |

My teacher never napped. She always used nap time to do something she wanted to do. Also if she was sleeping all hell would have broken loose. As it was when she was awake we were always getting people stuck under things.

Was it just me or was the teacher the only one actually sleeping? | The only teacher I ever had fall asleep in class was my fifth grade teacher. She fell asleep quite a bit. Looked like she was on drugs or drunk or something. She got fired after I was in the class.
