You gotta be friggin kidding me, you can't seriously think that that would allowed by British government.

I can see it now, someone has to testify in court along with 2 others.

Sir, please raise yer right hand and state yer full name: Turok!!

2nd witness: Turok.

Hehehehe, will never happen, trust me, neither will this passport changing shite happen.

This could and will happen someday, but hopefully sanity will reign eventually and a law will be passed to stop any money changing hands from name changing. But in the meantime, watch this space... marketers will have a field day with this one!

Anyone wanna be RTCW the Third?

Cheers
Mick

I want every cent involved in changing the names, including the government employees time, raw material costs, processing fees, and postage to be payed by either the name switcher or the games developer. Don't try to pass the time and money required for this nonesense off on taxpayers.

I like your take on this topic. Yet another wonderful waste of money for all the various countries involved.

law will be passed to stop any money changing hands from name changing.

Don't know how things operate "down under", but such a law would never even make it to the US congressional floor due to commercial lobbyists. As for the executive branch, we have more pressing issues according to "Scrub", like how we should be drilling for oil in Alaskan wildlife preserves while banning drilling off Florida's gulf coast.

Hopefully some politician in the UK will take a little more iniative to stop this type of wasteful garbage than the idiots we have running the show here in the US.

"Hi, my name is Altec Lansing."

Actually, that is a pretty cool name. Although in all seriousness, I think the whole idea is pretty messed up.
