I'm officially old...

OK folks, I'm about to leave to go to my 20th high school reunion. Man that really makes me feel old. I haven't been to one of these since the 5th.

There were about 400 people in my graduating class. I wanted to make some predictions before I go, just to see how well I can do:

1) There will be lots of overweight, bald men (some with less hair than me!)
2) Most of the "popular" ones will either be rich snobs or miserable losers
3) One or two of the "losers" will be rich and successful
4) I'll hear that someone I knew well and liked is dead
5) I'll have the most beautiful & intelligent wife, the best behaved & smartest kids, & be voted luckiest guy in the class! Yeah, right.
6) ...

Anyone else care to make some predictions? I'll post back later to see how close they are.

I predict that:

a) That girl who was the hottest one on campus, now....

b) The homely girl that you used to talk to, who was ALWAYS home on Saturday night (the poor dear, at least she has a real nice personality...) is now one of the most elegant women you ever saw!

And I'd say you're batting 1000 on the others, old man....I mean, HOWSTE!!

If I went to my official High School Reunion, it'd be the Class of '72 like Knotty here went to. 30 years. Long time. 'Course all the new whippersnappers around here'd never understand.

Remember the War, Knot? ( the Vietnam one, that is) LBJ/Army Draft/Woodstock.....nostalgia...
