Association says no to Air Force Flag
Displaying Flag
I can't believe that this would happen, especially at this time in the nations history.

"During a recent inspection of the association property, the following condition was observed at your address: flying a flag other than the American flag."
Dated Aug. 5, the letter said she has 21 days to remove the flag or face a $25 fine. The Air Force flag violates the association's rules, regulations and bylaws, the letter stated.

Last year when we were looking for a new home the first question that I asked was,"Is there a association". If the answer was yes, next home.

If I were Donna, I might think about painting that ruptured duck right on the garage door too!

Uh, forgive my stupidity, but isn't a USAF flag American?
When push comes to shove, few of these association rules hold up in court.

So many of these association rules are a very violation of one's freedom. Some are just trivial or annoying (or prevent annoyances). Most, however, are merely in pursuit of greed or snobbery versus freedom.
But THIS ONE....RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
This country is LOOSING it, I tell ya. These people should be ticketed or jailed for harassing her, IMO. And good rule of thumb, Mad1. It will probably be a couple more years before I fork out for a house, but I will definately be following a similar guideline. I don't want ANYTHING other than the government involved in my property (taxes, permits, zoning, etc)...after all, isn't that more than enough already?

a nieghborhood about 3 miles from here had the same problem.
It was this past X-mas and this guy made an awsome american flag out of christmas lights on his roof. the whole main road could see it. it was just an amazing sight. but the "association" told him to take it down or recieve a fine. he said that he rather pay the fine than take it down
im not sure what happened, but i rememeber seeing that flag stay up
its funny how "association" starts off with ass
makes you think

We are not permitted to fly the RAF flag except at RAF installations, they wouldnt even let me use it on my fathers coffin after 30 years in the RAF.
Live with it, its just stupid rules.
