I think they got a small version to work through walls on computers. I need one of these for work... MUAHAHA!!
Hmm. If your buddy is floating around, something is seriously wrong!

I could use one of those for all these fart can racers that come through my neighborhood. They use it as a personal speedway, and little kids/kids play in the streets alot I'm afraid one of the kids will get hit one day Don't tempt me, I've actually wondered how I could make something that would kill a car dead in it's tracks. That will teach them not to speed, and hurt children, or for more selfish reasons, not to bash/key my car!

You die a slow, agonizing, painful, unneccessary death.

Somewhat off-topic: The reason all electronic devices are required to be off when aircraft cabin doors are closed is a safeguard against interference with the Inertial Navigation System(INS) calibration/gyro spool-up at engine start after gate push-back(even tho GPS makes the practice archaic). Avionics are shielded quite well and if an electrical interference issue existed you wouldn't be able to use the devices even while taxiing to your gate. A cell phone is quite capable of a connection if within range of a repeater in flight, as we found out during 9-11.
