Saw it last night, what a disapointment. I guess i was expecting alot more for some odd reason. i was gonna see XXX sunday but went and saw Signs. awsome movie!
plus can someone explain this to me, its an empty theater. its pretty big and the people sit behind me and in front of me! can i ask why?!?!?! and then the little stupid girls who are 15 and 16 are talking thru the whole fricken movie. talking about having sex with van deisel oh shut up and just watch the damn movie!
lol I know what you mean. The movie was loud and dumb to begin with, but the gaggle of young teen girls really grates me. They won't stop talking! Although it could've been worse...at least the girls provided some amusement :
Girl 1: "Where are they?"
Girl 2: "The Czech Republic."
Girl 1: " Oh. What's that?"
when people around me won't shut up, I don't hesitate to tell them I didn't pay to listen to them yak, I paid to listen to the people on the screen talk the whole time. And I give them some time before I speak to them about non stop gabbing. If they don't shut up, I WILL get the manager to remove them. Inconsiderate 'holes

Sounds like my experience with Signs. (Great movie BTW) Theater has plenty of open rows but these 2 old ladies decide they want to sit on the same row as me right beside me. Leaving no seat between us. Lady taking up my arm rest and knocked my water bottle on the floor so I couldn't find it after she'd walked by. They talked through the entire movie.
Crowd grasps and jumps.
Old lady 1: "What happened? I closed my eyes for a minute."
Old lady 2: "Blah, blah, blah, ba blah, blah blah."
Repeat above scenario through duration of movie.
Cell phones going off, young kids laughing, cutting up, spilling drinks. Miserable experience but the movie was worth it.
But why does the old lady have to sit next to me and talk the whole time too? When you go to a theater with plenty of empty seats (good seats too) do you sit right next to somebody you don't know?

'Tis why I invested in a home theater and wait for the DVD. Has to be a blockbuster to get me to pay my 8-9 bucks. Whatever happened to double features?
XXX didn't appeal to me anyway...I'm not a fan of the high-flying out-of-this-world crapola anyway, especially with IthinkI'mtoughVin Diesel.
Saw Austin Powers last night
AWESOME movie....the part when he's doing the asteroid demonstration and gets hit in the nuts was hilarious....also when Austin was peeing behind the water fountain statue in Japan..that had be cracking up the whole time
