Getting images to show with POSTS

Hey there,

I have been doing the forum thing for over a year now. What I
want to know is how you can attach images so other people
can see them. I attached one as a trial but, I want to have it
where the image shows up with my system specs.
Pretty basic I know.......I just need a little PUSH start though

1. You will need to host the image at your own site, or a photo posting site somewhere.

2. here is the code you need to type in to have your image posted:
[ img]http://www.something.com/something/something.jpg[/img]

Thanks...but,

In order to have this message show up with every POST do I
need to put this code in the SIGNATURE PART OF MY PROFILE ??

We don't use signatures on this forum
(i.e. the option to use signatures is disabled)

To insert images directly into your post, it has to be hosted on the internet somewhere. The instructions for posting images can be found in the What is vB Code? section of the FAQ.

I want to have it where the image shows up with my system specs.

Easier than posting an image would be to create a small text file in Notepad and simply copy and paste it into your post when needed. If you had in mind to use your system specs as a signature, we don't allow sigs here.
