Yes the forgotten b***tard forum of Techimo still exist's. People begged for "IT" and now just a few souls use "it".

I guess if you build it they will come does not apply here, or does it?

I've been there a couple times, but couldn't get it to work through my proxies!

I thought it was because of all my defenses, but M$ Messenger works, Instant Messanger works, ICQ and Chat doesn't!

Maybe its because there was a semi-chatroom within IRC a "few" people were using and those users undermined the TechImo chat wanting people to go there, some had problems with IRC not being as easy as clicking within the forum list---so the TechImo chat never caught on---

TKOP is right for the most part. It's not that nobody wants the techimo chat to not succeed...it's just that the ohter chat was firmly established already by the time this one came about and has now grown outside of just TechIMO members.

I'm there, but im always there, even when im working and not really there . It is always fun to chat with the occasional new member that stops in, fill them on on Timo and all the good stuff Even used it to answer some questions before, real time tech supoprt, imagine that.

And we (AC and myself) are there three or four nights a week.

I admit that in the last two weeks we have missed alot, but that is because of changes in our lives (she worked late, we were out of town...).

The fact is, the chat here is something that we count on. Real people that at least have the tech end in common (or not so in common).

People are what we come to the chat for, not some flash or bang.
