Changing my username?

[HelpPlease]

Just wondeirng if an admin or mod would be able to :P

I watn it so it will change all of your posts to that name....like in phpBB (Uh oh....*see's veggies thrown at him for saying phpBB*)



I'd appreciate it as well..this name sucks...

It is your responsibility to keep the information in your profile up-to-date. You should especially ensure that your email address is kept current. You can alter any of the fields in your profile, except your username. Once you have registered your username, it becomes yours for life. In extreme circumstances, you may request that the administrator change your username, but he will require a very good reason to do so. - TechIMO FAQ - User Maintenance

The problem with changing usernames, especially for members with a significant number of posts, is that any threads were the member has been addressed by their username will become confusing. You can of course send a message to the Administrator requesting the change, but my advice for everyone that has made this request is just to re-register under the new username of your choice. (Each username requires it's own valid email address, so if you have only one, email or PM me and I'll disable your old account so you can use your old email addy with the new account.)
